Provenance
Every output must carry an embedded C2PA content credential. The credential MUST include: generation engines used (with version hashes), source materials referenced (with consent attestations), human approval signatures at every gate, and a SHA-256 hash of the final master. Outputs without a complete credential MUST be flagged at distribution.
Talent Consent
Every likeness in the output must have documented consent for the specific commercial use. Consent records must capture: the consenting individual’s verified identity, the scope of permitted use, the licensing terms (per-shot, per-episode, exclusivity windows), and SAG-AFTRA 2026 AI provision compliance. Royalties must be escrowed at generation, paid on distribution.
Multi-Engine Routing
No single engine should be a single point of failure. Production-grade systems must orchestrate at least 3 partner engines with automatic failover on continuity breach, cost overrun, or generation error. The credential chain must record which engine produced each shot.
Continuity Scoring
Shot-to-shot consistency must be measured numerically. Minimum acceptable score is 95.0 across character likeness, environment, lighting, and wardrobe. Sub-threshold shots must trigger Gate B re-review. Continuity scores must be exportable in the audit packet.
Audio Integrity
Audio is not a post-step. Score, foley, dialogue, and ambient must be generated simultaneously with the visual render. Multi-language voiceover must preserve speaker timbre and cadence across languages. Audio provenance must be included in the credential chain.
Distribution Credentials
Every distributed output must carry platform-verifiable credentials. Credentials must include: content type declaration (AI-generated, AI-assisted, or human-directed), talent consent attestations, engine provenance, and jurisdiction-specific disclosure compliance.
Audit Trail
Every state change in the production pipeline must produce an immutable audit event. Events are hash-chained (SHA-256). The audit packet must be exportable per episode, per shot, or per talent. Retention minimum: 7 years for compliance obligations.
Disclosure
AI-generated content must be disclosed to end viewers per applicable jurisdiction. Disclosure requirements are configuration, not code — new regulations produce new rows, not new deployments. The standard supports GDPR, CCPA, EU AI Act, and emerging frameworks.
