Last updated May 2026. This policy describes how V8-MOTION collects, uses, and protects your data.
1.1 Account Information. When you create a V8-MOTION account, we collect your name, email address, organization name, and billing information (processed by Stripe; we do not store full payment card numbers).
1.2 Production Data. We process the creative briefs, character definitions, scene descriptions, uploaded assets, and generated outputs you create within the platform. This data is stored in your project workspace and is not shared across accounts.
1.3 Usage Analytics. We collect anonymized usage data including feature interactions, session duration, engine selection patterns, and error events. This data is used to improve service reliability and is never linked to your production content.
1.4 Technical Data. We automatically collect IP address, browser type, device identifiers, and access timestamps for security monitoring and abuse prevention.
2.1 Service Delivery. Your production data is processed solely to deliver the video production service you requested — rendering shots, assembling episodes, generating audio, certifying outputs, and distributing to your selected platforms.
2.2 Service Improvement. Anonymized usage analytics (never production content) are used to improve engine selection algorithms, optimize rendering pipelines, and enhance the Operator Studio experience.
2.3 Billing & Accounting. Account and usage data is used to calculate subscription fees, usage-based charges, talent royalties, and to generate invoices through Stripe.
2.4 Communication. We use your email address to send transactional notifications (production status, billing receipts, security alerts) and, with your consent, product updates. You may opt out of non-transactional emails at any time.
3.1 Engine Providers. When your productions are processed by third-party video generation engines, we transmit anonymized prompts and technical parameters. We do not transmit your account information, project names, or any identifying metadata to engine providers.
3.2 Payment Processors. Billing data is shared with Stripe for payment processing and with talent rights holders via Stripe Connect for royalty disbursement. Only the minimum data necessary for each transaction is transmitted.
3.3 Infrastructure Partners. Production data transits through our cloud infrastructure providers (storage, compute, CDN) under data processing agreements that prohibit independent use of your data.
3.4 Law Enforcement. We will disclose your information to law enforcement agencies only when required by valid legal process (subpoena, court order, or equivalent). We will notify you of such requests unless prohibited by law from doing so.
3.5 No Sale of Data. V8-MOTION does not sell, rent, or trade your personal information or production data to any third party for advertising, marketing, or any other purpose.
4.1 Production Data. Retention periods vary by plan tier. Starter plans retain production data for 90 days after the last modification. Professional plans retain for 1 year. Studio plans retain indefinitely while the subscription is active.
4.2 Account Data. Account information is retained for the duration of your subscription and for 90 days following account closure to facilitate reactivation requests.
4.3 Usage Analytics. Anonymized analytics data is retained for up to 24 months and then permanently deleted.
4.4 Audit Records. C2PA certification records and audit chain data are retained for 7 years to support provenance verification and regulatory compliance.
4.5 Post-Termination. Following account termination, you have a 30-day export window. After this window, production data is permanently deleted from active systems within 30 days. Backup copies are purged within 90 days.
5.1 Access. You may request a copy of all personal data we hold about you. We will provide this data in a machine-readable format within 30 days of your request.
5.2 Deletion. You may request deletion of your account and all associated personal data. Production data deletion follows the post-termination schedule described in Section 4.5.
5.3 Portability. You may export your production data (projects, assets, outputs, metadata) at any time through the Operator Studio export tools or via the API.
5.4 Objection. You may object to our processing of your data for service improvement purposes. We will cease such processing within 30 days of your objection without affecting your access to the production service.
5.5 Correction. You may update or correct your account information at any time through the Operator Studio settings.
6.1 V8-MOTION processes and stores data primarily in the United States. By using V8-MOTION, you consent to the transfer of your data to the United States for processing.
6.2 For users in the European Economic Area, United Kingdom, or Switzerland, we rely on Standard Contractual Clauses as approved by the European Commission to provide adequate safeguards for international data transfers.
6.3 We maintain security measures consistent with industry standards, including encryption in transit (TLS 1.3) and at rest (AES-256), access controls, and regular security audits.
6.4 California residents have additional rights under the CCPA, including the right to know, delete, and opt out of the sale of personal information. V8-MOTION does not sell personal information as defined under the CCPA.
