Acceptable Use Policy

V8-MOTION is a production tool. These rules ensure it stays one. Last updated May 2026.

01

Prohibited Content

Child sexual abuse material (CSAM) or any sexualized depictions of minors. Detection results in immediate account termination, content deletion, and law enforcement referral. Zero tolerance.

Realistic depictions of extreme violence, torture, or gore intended to shock, threaten, or harass.

Non-consensual intimate imagery, whether of real or fictitious persons whose likeness is derived from a real individual.

Deepfakes or synthetic media depicting real individuals without their documented, verifiable consent.

Content that promotes terrorism, incites violence against identifiable groups, or constitutes a credible threat.

Content that impersonates real individuals for the purpose of fraud, defamation, or misinformation.

02

Talent Compliance

All AI-generated characters based on real-person likenesses must use talent sourced through the V8-MOTION CAST marketplace or uploaded with valid consent documentation.

Operators using CAST talent must abide by the royalty terms, usage restrictions, and content categories specified by the talent rights holder.

Operators uploading custom likenesses must provide signed consent forms, identity verification, and usage scope documentation before production begins.

Talent rights holders may revoke consent at any time. Revocation triggers automatic removal from future productions; existing certified productions are not retroactively affected.

03

Consent Requirements

Every use of a real person's likeness, voice, or identity requires documented consent specifying the scope, duration, and permitted content categories.

Consent documentation must be uploaded to the V8-MOTION platform before the likeness is used in any production.

V8-MOTION reserves the right to audit consent records at any time and to suspend production involving unverified likenesses.

Operators are solely responsible for the validity, legality, and enforceability of consent documentation they provide.

04

Provenance Integrity

All V8-MOTION outputs carry C2PA (Coalition for Content Provenance and Authenticity) manifests certifying their AI-generated origin.

Operators must not strip, alter, overwrite, or falsify C2PA metadata from any V8-MOTION output.

Re-encoding or format conversion that preserves C2PA metadata is permitted. Re-encoding that strips metadata must be accompanied by re-certification through the V8-MOTION API.

Distributing V8-MOTION outputs with removed or falsified provenance data is a material breach of this policy.

05

Enforcement

V8-MOTION uses automated and human review to detect policy violations. Flagged content is reviewed within 24 hours.

First violation: Content removed. Operator notified with specific policy citation. Warning issued.

Second violation: Account suspended for 30 days. All active productions paused. Data preserved but inaccessible.

Third violation or any severe violation (CSAM, credible threats, systematic consent fraud): Permanent account termination, data deletion, and referral to relevant law enforcement agencies.

V8-MOTION cooperates with law enforcement investigations and will preserve and produce data in response to valid legal process.

Operators may appeal enforcement decisions within 14 days. Appeals are reviewed by a human compliance officer, not an automated system.

If you encounter content on V8-MOTION that violates this policy, report it to abuse@v8motion.com. We investigate every report.
